How does a Whole Cow order work?

You'll have the opportunity to ask us any questions about your selections before the cows are taken for processing, so that you receive a customized culinary experience. A Whole Cow order includes all of your beef favorites: a variety of steaks, roasts, short ribs, tenderloin, stew meat, stir fry, ground beef, and more, plus nutritious bones, fat and organs.
How much freezer space do I need?
Are the farm practices for these cows the same as at CATHIS Farm?
The difference is that these cows receive a haylage/grain mix during finishing. They are Angus/Simmental mix cattle raised on pasture and finished on pasture with a haylage/grain mix. CATHIS Farm’s Dexter cattle are 100% grass-fed, meaning they are grass-fed and grass-finished. Both are raised on pasture for their entire lives.
